La Huertona de Castroserna is a whole country house with 7 bedrooms for 14 people in beds, expandable to 21 with extra beds. It's ideal for groups of friends and families with children.

The house has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms across two floors. Three bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom: two of them on the ground floor and the third upstairs. The other four bedrooms are upstairs and share two bathrooms. There is also a toilet on the ground floor, so you don't have to go up while you are in the living room or outside.

Yes. The house has a private pool, a covered barbecue area with an outdoor kitchen and a long table that seats the whole group, and a ping-pong table, plus large indoor spaces to enjoy whatever the weather. The barbecue runs on gas (not charcoal) and gas is provided. There are also two paella pans with a gas burner: one 80 cm across for 20 people and another 60 cm for 12 people.

It's in Castroserna de Arriba, in the Segovia mountains. Access is easy by car for groups and luggage, in a quiet natural setting.

Renting the whole house starts at €650 per day, with a minimum stay of 2 days. Each extra bed costs an additional €15 per day.

They are proper beds: every one of them has a slatted base and a normal, good-quality mattress, not the usual foam mattress that sags in the middle. You sleep just as well as in any other bed in the house, so they suit anyone, at any age.

Yes. The house has free fibre-optic wi-fi covering the whole house, with plenty of speed for remote work, video calls or streaming in the evening.

Yes, pets are welcome. There is an extra charge: tell us when you book and we will confirm the amount for your stay. We will also share a couple of practical notes about the house and the garden.

You don't need to bring any of that: the house comes fully equipped, sheets and towels included, also for the extra beds. Fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine. All you need to bring is food and personal belongings.

We'd rather be straight about this: mobile coverage in the village is poor. That is why the house has fibre wi-fi in every room, which is what you'll use to browse, make video calls and call over WhatsApp without trouble. A repeater is planned to improve coverage.

On the street, right next to the house. It is a small village and there is plenty of room, even if you come in several cars.

Yes. Heating is by aerothermal system and it is included in the price, with no surcharges or timetables. We leave the living-room fireplace with a few kilos of firewood as a courtesy; if you want more, we can provide it for a small charge. Just ask.

Smoking is not allowed inside the house. In the garden and on the porch, no problem.

The house is for the people staying in it: celebrations with guests from outside the group are not allowed. And from 11 pm we ask for no noise, out of respect for the village and the neighbours. If you have something bigger in mind, write to us first and we'll look into it.

You don't have to clean the house: we take care of that. We only ask you to leave everything tidy and the kitchenware you used clean and back in its place. No need to make the beds, clean the bathrooms or mop the floors.

We normally hand them over in person and show you around the house. If you arrive at night or we can't be there that day, there is a key box ready and we send you the instructions.

A deposit confirms the booking, and the rest is paid in cash when you get the keys. The security deposit is €100: either left in cash on arrival and returned when you leave, or included in the amount paid and refunded 48 hours after you leave the house, if there is no damage.

As a rule no: the minimum stay is 2 nights, and always so at weekends. Outside weekends, write to us and we'll look at the dates.

Write to us as soon as you know and we'll explain the terms depending on the dates and how long is left before check-in. The earlier you tell us, the easier it is to find a solution.

There are no bars or shops in Castroserna de Arriba: it is a small, very quiet village, and that is exactly what people come for. It is best to arrive with your shopping done. Prádena (10 km) and Sepúlveda (18 km) have everything.

No. The pool is for the summer season; the rest of the year it is not in use. In winter the plan is a different one: fireplace, heating and the large indoor spaces.

Yes: the pool is fenced, so children cannot get in on their own. We'll show you how it works when you arrive.

Yes. There is a ramp up to the house and the whole ground floor is step-free, with two of the en-suite bedrooms on that same floor. Write to us and we'll go through the details.

Yes, every door and window in the house has an insect screen. Much appreciated in summer, with the garden right there.
